Kid Safe Fruit loops Bath Bombs (made with essential oil)

Bath Bomb ingredients

2 cups baking soda
1 cup corn starch
1 cup epsom salt
1 cup citric acid
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp water
1/2 tsp essential oil (I used PJS blend From Plant Therapy, this is a kidsafe blend that smells like fruit loops)
pink food coloring
Light gold mica

For the bath bombs first mix all of the dry ingredients except for the citric acid. You want to mix wet and dry ingredients separately and then mix them together then, add citric acid. This makes it so the reaction with the baking soda and citric acid doesn't start when you add your wet ingredients. After everything is mixed you want your mixture to be similar to wet sand and stick together on its own.

When I mold my bath bombs I lightly overfill both sides and then push them together. If you want to make sure your bath bomb stays together, you can lightly tap one side of the mold with a spoon, take the mold off, then check if the bath bomb is still together. After molding your bath bomb, secure your mold with a hair tie.

Let your bath bombs dry in the mold for 24 hours until you remove the molds. You can lightly tap the mold with a spoon to loosen the mold. (sometimes you need to let your bath bombs dry for a while after you have removed them from the molds) after they have had a chance to dry I mixed a little more coconut oil with the light gold mica and painted a cute swirl on the top. I made these for my kids and they LOVED them:)
